Echols Building Group is a Wilmington based renovation and new construction firm run by Doug Echols. Doug is a native of Wilmington and lives there with his wife Bailey and their two children Walker and Rinn. Doug graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a B.A. degree in Communication Studies. Doug has worked in residential construction since 2013. 

Doug has held multiple positions in the residential construction industry for (2) prominent firms in Wilmington. Doug started his residential construction career in punch work and quickly advanced to the role of Project Manager. To date he has overseen new construction and renovation projects ranging from $5k to over $1 million.

When Doug isn’t working with a client on a new design or visiting an existing project job site you can find him on the golf course, the bow of a skiff with a fly rod in his hand, wading a river in search of trout, or on his patio cooking on his Big Green Egg. Doug is a family man and enjoys spending time with family and friends above all else.
